Welcome
The Institute for Cardiogenetics
aims to better understand the genetic factors that lead to cardiovascular diseases, eg. atherosclerosis and myocardial infarction – more commonly known as heart attack.
We, at the Institute for Cardiogenetics, have set ourselves the goal of advancing research into cardiovascular diseases by studying different layers of omics data and integrating them with experimental data from mice, zebrafish, and human cell culture models, in order to develop better therapies in the long term.
