The Institute for Cardiogenetics Lübeck (Head: Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Tanja Zeller) focuses its research on the molecular and genetic mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, and vascular calcification. Identifying genetic risk factors and translating these findings into clinical applications are central to the Institute’s mission.
