- Understanding the pathomechanism of coronary artery disease (CAD), cardiovascular disease (CVD), and smooth muscle calcification (SMCC)
- Investigating genetic and epigenetic variants associated with CAD, CVD, and SMCC using both dry-lab analyses (GWAS, Post-GWAS, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq…etc), and wet-lab experiments (cell culture, calcification reporter assay…etc)
- Goal: Identify potential drug targets
