Leducq meeting in Lübeck
In 2013 we have been awarded by the Leducq foundation a trans-atlantic network “CADgenomics”. The funding is for 5 years and is meant to be invested in the “Understanding of the genetics of coronary artery disease”. We meet on a regular basis at the different partner sites, after Los Angeles, Munich, San Diego, and Leicester, this year we will meet in Lübeck.
We are happy to welcome the members of our consortium here. The meeting will take place in the European Hansemuseum.
Here you can see some photos from our meeting. These 3 days were full of discussing impressive scientific data. More about the meeting can be found in our blog.
Uni im Dialog
Every year the University presents projects from master and doctoral students to the public. This important and interesting event, called “Uni im Dialog” will take place this year at St. Petri on June 8th from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
This event is meant to explain in plain language research projects to the public who is usually not familiar with these topics.
Every year it is challenging to find a way to present complex research question so that people without prior knowledge do understand what we actually are doing. Also members of the IIEG will try to present their latest results about cardiovascular genetics in this way. To make this challenge even more attractive to the students the best posters will be awarded with a poster prize.
See you in St. Petri!
